Install your eSIM.

On Wi-Fi, before you go or once you're there.

Installing from the app needs iOS 17.4 or later.

Installing from the app needs a recent version of Android.

iPhone, App

  1. Sign in to the Roamfly app with the account you bought with, then open My eSIMs.

  2. Tap your eSIM, then Install eSIM.

  3. Tap Continue when your iPhone offers to add the eSIM.

  4. Keep your usual line for calls and texts.

iPhone, QR code

  1. Open the email with your QR code on another screen, or print it.

  2. On your iPhone, open Settings, then Mobile Service (Cellular in the US).

  3. Tap Add eSIM, then Use QR Code, and scan the code.

  4. Tap Continue and follow the prompts.

  5. Keep your usual line for calls and texts.

On iOS 17.4 or later you can also press and hold the QR code in the email, then tap Add eSIM.

iPhone, Manual

  1. Find the SM-DP+ address and activation code in the email with your QR code.

  2. Open Settings, then Mobile Service (Cellular in the US), then Add eSIM.

  3. Tap Use QR Code, then Enter Details Manually.

  4. Paste the SM-DP+ address and the activation code, then tap Next.

  5. Tap Continue, and keep your usual line for calls and texts.

Android, App

  1. Sign in to the Roamfly app with the account you bought with, then open My eSIMs.

  2. Tap your eSIM, then Install eSIM.

  3. Follow the prompts on your phone to add the eSIM.

  4. Keep your usual SIM for calls and texts.

Android, QR code

  1. Open the email with your QR code on another screen, or print it.

  2. Open Settings, then Network & internet, or Connections on Samsung.

  3. Tap SIMs, then Add SIM and Set up an eSIM, or SIM manager and Add eSIM on Samsung.

  4. Scan the QR code, then tap Download or Add.

  5. Keep your usual SIM for calls and texts.

Your phone can't scan its own screen, so show the code on another screen or print it.

Android, Manual

  1. Find the SM-DP+ address and activation code in the email with your QR code.

  2. Open Settings, then Network & internet, or Connections on Samsung.

  3. Tap SIMs, then Add SIM and Set up an eSIM, or SIM manager and Add eSIM on Samsung, and choose to enter the code yourself.

  4. Enter the SM-DP+ address and the activation code. If your phone asks for one code, type LPA:1$, the address, $ and the code, with no spaces.

  5. Tap Connect or Continue, and keep your usual SIM for calls and texts.

Then check two settings.

  1. Turn on Data Roaming for your Roamfly line.

  2. iPhone: Set Mobile Data (Cellular Data in the US) to your Roamfly line.

    Android: Set Mobile data to your Roamfly SIM.

Common questions.

Connect to Wi-Fi, check that your phone is on our compatibility list and carrier-unlocked, then restart it and try again. Each QR code works once, so if it was scanned before, chat with us.

Check that your Roamfly line is turned on, chosen for mobile data and has Data Roaming on. Then turn Airplane Mode on and off. The plan only connects in the country or region you bought it for.

Your plan stops using data. Buy another plan for the same destination and install it the same way. Your own SIM and number don't change.

Yes, on phones with dual SIM. Keep your own SIM for calls and texts, and use the Roamfly line for data. You choose this in your phone's SIM or cellular settings.

On iPhone: Settings, Mobile Service (Cellular in the US), tap the line, then Delete eSIM. On Android: Settings, Network & internet, SIMs, tap the SIM, then Erase eSIM. On Samsung: Settings, Connections, SIM manager, tap the eSIM, then Remove. A deleted eSIM can't be installed again, so wait until your plan ends.

It may still work. Dial *#06#: if an EID appears, your phone supports eSIM. You can also look for Add eSIM in your settings, or chat with us.
