If you can't scan the QR code, you can type the details in instead. You'll need the SM-DP+ address and the activation code, which are in your confirmation email and in My eSIMs.
iPhone
- Go to Settings > Mobile Service (Cellular in the US), then tap Add eSIM.
- Tap Use QR Code, then Enter Details Manually.
- Enter the SM-DP+ address and the activation code.
- Follow the prompts to finish.
Android
- Go to Settings > Network & internet > SIMs. On Samsung, go to Settings > Connections > SIM manager.
- Tap Add SIM, then Set up an eSIM. On Samsung, tap Add eSIM, then Scan QR code.
- Choose to enter the details manually (Enter activation code on Samsung), then enter the SM-DP+ address and the activation code.
- Confirm the download.
It works exactly like the QR code, with text instead of a picture.
